Fire Come Closer
Suvajit Mondal conducted a Raku workshop where he taught the participants about the unique Japanese pottery technique known for its unpredictable and distinctive outcomes. Raku pottery is made by rapidly firing the clay pieces, which are then removed from the kiln and placed into combustible materials, which create the desired texture and color. Mondal shared his knowledge and experience with the participants, guiding them through the process of creating their own Raku pieces. The workshop was a great success, and the participants left feeling inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of Raku pottery.
