SUAVJIT MONDAL

He was born in Howrah, a town in West Bengal in 1990. As a child, He always had an inclination towards creative expression. The journey in the direction started officially when He completed his Bachelors in Fine Arts from Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata in 2013. He continued to complete his Masters in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati (Santiniketan) in 2015 during which he also got a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. he was also selected for a student exchange program at Burapha University in Thailand which widened his environment and hence, he interaction with the world around. 2015 also marked the year for him achieving the 56th National Award at Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi. He is an instructor and studio-in- charge at Sanskriti Kala Kendra, (2016-2018) Ceramic center (a Delhi Blue Pottery venture). He worked as a visiting faculty in the College of Art (2019- 20). Currently he is working in his own studio (The Potter's Life) New Delhi.
Nandini Sarkar I am a multi-disciplinary artist working in various mediums. I have done my BFA and MFA in Painting from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan. I have got a merit scholarship in Painting,Kala bhavana 2010. Also actively participated in many prestigious art exhibitions, workshops and camps in national and international platforms_ "BRIEF PARABLES OF DYSTOPIA" held in MOMus Thessaloniki, Greece in 2019, International Creative Drawing Exchange programme organised by Gallery ARTOZ, Udaipur, Rajasthan, 2020, K G SUBRAMANYAN- Remembering our beloved Mani Da_Group show in Delhi 2021 INCEPTION _ Group show organised by FOVAC foundation, Chennai, 2021 and many more… I am also certified THANKA painting artist since 2013.Two of my great mural works are in display on the wall at AAMTALA BOY’S HOSTEL, Visva Bharti University, Santiniketan, Birbhum, West Bengal on 15 Dec, 2015, which is now a part of heritagebuilding and Wall mural in cement at Santiniketan Police Station, West Bengal, March 2016. During the time of this pandemic, I have also organized seven group shows as an associate curatorwith FOVAC both online and offline. I am also a founder of a small art group NAF which basically give opportunities to many young and emerging artists across India. Three of my articles along with Twonewsletters were been published in the ARTIQUERA.Most of my artworks are in collection of international art collectors mostly from Japan, China, Hungary, UK, Berlin, Thailand, South Korea, Greece, Germany and also in India.
